🚨 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Today is National Wear Victor’s Shirts Day. 👕

Our flamboyant manager, Victor Higgins , has escaped to the UK for the next 5 weeks, so in his absence we’ve… acquired a selection of his legendary shirt collection. Totally with permission. Kind of… okay, we pinched them—but we’ll have them washed, ironed, and hanging back in his wardrobe before his grand return. 😏

Pop in today to see the team rocking Victor’s iconic style. We can’t promise we’ll manage the café quite as well as he does (who could?!), but we’ll definitely be dressed for the occasion! 🇬🇧☕️

🎉 Happy 50th Birthday to our one and only Roger! 🎉

Yesterday we celebrated one of our absolute favourites here at The Bach on Breakwater Cafe!

Of course, we couldn’t let the big 5-0 pass quietly… We made sure to embarrass him with a very loud rendition of Happy Birthday right in the middle of the lunch rush, decorated his bench with balloons and a birthday banner, and surprised him with a card, some goodies, and a delicious birthday cake made by our talented baker. 🎂🎈

Roger is a huge part of our kitchen team, and we’re so lucky to have him. Thanks for all your hard work, your sense of humour, and for always being willing to lend a hand (even if you had to survive our singing first!).

Please join us in wishing Roger Cox a very Happy 50th Birthday! 🥳🎉
