Showcasing New Zealand cuisine with an emphasis on free range and organic products. We are also very proud to showcase local Taranaki produce in our menu. We are passionate about our food which is accompanied with friendly & sensational service. Our Haukai team would like to invite you to an unprecedented culinary experience & a true New Zealand service from the moment you step into the restaurant or bar. Haukai features an indoor dining area for up to 70 and an outdoor area which is perfect to relax with your meal accompanied by a fine New Zealand wine or refreshing beverage of your choice. Breakfast from 6am – 10am, dinner from 5:30pm till 9pm. Lunch every weekend Saturday & Sunday 11:30am - 2:00pm

You asked and we listened! We’ve got something special planned for our littlest Haukai guests these September/October school holidays.

🍪 Haukai Little Bakers
Roll up those sleeves for our cookie decorating workshops, with plenty of icing, sprinkles and treats to take home.

🫖 A Little High Tea at Haukai
Big treats for little guests. A special one-off high tea with sweet and savoury treats, a choice of drink served specially in a teacup! AND a special balloon photo backdrop, props and plenty of fun music.

And for the grown-ups? Settle in nearby with a coffee, wine or something from our bar snack menu while the kids enjoy the fun.

Spaces are limited and bookings are essential.
