We will NEVER sell any food that is off, including but not limited to our fish!!!

We had our first refund tonight, with a complaint about the off taste fish.

I refund the money to her instantly. And I told her the fish was portioned last night.

I usually portion the fish on the day.

I did it last night, because I needed to go to Nelson Airport early this morning to fly to Auckland with Mum. She would transfer her flight to China later today, and I would fly back late in the afternoon, leaving me very limited time to do the Mise En Place.

I can't even imagine anything prepared last night could be off.

The fish of the day in recent two days is Alfonsino, a red-colored fish. We tried it as soon as we got it, before cooking it to any customer. Actually, we always taste new type of fish after delivery. It has a strong sea smell when it's raw. And nothing special after cooking.

You are more than welcomed to tell us if you don't like the flavour (any new type of fish of the day could be too strong, or flavorless to you), helping us avoid ordering the fish type you don't like.

The only reason we would like to have a try of Alfonsino is the fisherman didn't get any old type in past two days. And we will keep asking them. (Ok, I have to admit small part of reason is my curiosity of food that I never handle before)

Last but not the least, thank you so much for all your supports as always.

Dear customers,

We are going to be closed from
26th October to 29th October,
Thursday to Sunday,
due to family issue (Need to drive over 2,500km to pick up Mum in Auckland, and drive Neil to CHCH airport later on).
