We are the proprietors of “THE COOKHOUSE”, an Indian Takeaway located on Murphy Road, Taradale. Delighted to announce the launch of our café and cookhouse is called “Conversations”now open at 944 Heretaunga St West, Hastings. Our menu boasts an array of fusion cuisine, innovative Indian twisted Mexican bowls and tacos. Our initial operating hours of 8:30am - 2:30pm will comprise breakfast and lunch service, with dinner service to be introduced in the near future. Life is like a game of chess, and you are the knight in the game. Sometimes, you need to take a step back to win the game.

Similarly, in our cooking journey, we need to take a temporary break to come back stronger and better. Due to unforeseen circumstances, our COOKHOUSE will be shutting down for a brief period. We have two options, either to compromise on the quality and sell food for a lower price or stick to our guns and maintain the quality and price that we are known for. After careful consideration, we have chosen the latter option, and as a result, we will be temporarily closing the cookhouse. In the past year, we have formed many great relationships, met new people, and received valuable feedback. We will be back soon with something even better, so stay tuned for that. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we look forward to serving you again in the future.

We’ll not let you miss our traditional cooking so We have soon start offering The Indian cooking classes -TICC for those who want to learn traditional Indian home cooking.
