🎉 25 years - can you believe it! 🎉

The very first Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Market was held on 29th October 2000 at the Tōmoana Showgrounds with just 15 stallholders. Since then, it’s grown and evolved into the bustling Sunday must-do it is today.

We’re so grateful for everyone who’s been part of the journey - from our dedicated stallholders who turn up rain or shine, to our loyal customers who brave the weather to shop local and support our region’s growers and makers.

That’s 1,300 Sundays (and counting!) of local food, community, and connection. Here’s to the next 25 years of market mornings in Hawke’s Bay!

Celebrate with us this Sunday, 2nd November - with prizes to be won (including a market hamper!), plus colouring competitions, scavenger hunts, family games, and plenty of birthday fun!
