We have teamed up with the amazing distillers Dr Beak Gin and the Piwakawaka/Fantail for 2026 Bird of the Year!

Dr Beak's Garden Gin features the familiar Piwakawaka on its label and Methven was gifted the name of Piwakawaka by local iwi so it made sense to team up with them for this important election!

The Alchemist 🌿

Isn't she just the prettiest colour! The Alchemist is made with homemade mandarin marmalade to bring in bitter sweet notes, tequilla for the heat, campari for added bitterness, Benedictine adds a subtle herbal flavour and freshly squeezed lime brings everything together.

Hot Buttered Thunderdonk

Warm up with something different. Boozy and decadent, this winter only cocktail tastes like a nostalgic hot cookie! It is perfect after a day on the slopes or as an after dinner treat.

Spiced butter batter, your choice of THUNDERDONK WHISKY whisky, whipped cream and fresh Nutmeg.
