This weekend Smiths isn't messing around.

Saturday: DJ Dubhead. Four decades deep in Auckland's dub and reggae scene, the man behind 95bFM's Rhythm Selection, a certified legend of the sound system culture up here. There's a reason people just call him the Godfather of Dub.
5pm-8pm

Sunday: Wendy Douglas. Soul, funk, house and the rare gift of actually reading a room. Relaxed grooves early, energy up as the sun goes down. The Queen of Sweet Beats, no arguments.
12pm-3pm

Looking to liven up Thursdays..

This Thursday warm up the vocal cords at Blingo, kicking off at 6.30pm, free and hosted by Flynny.

Then head next door to The Stables for Stars in Disguise.
Forget normal karaoke this is the full rig. Stage is out, stacks are up and a full professional sound system running the show. This thing makes everyone sound like a star.

Sing your heart out or just soak it up from the back, either way there's snacks, songs, and a room full of people having a go.

The Legacy Fest truck and our events team are going "Into The Wild" tomorrow. We're heading out around Matakana, Snells Beach and Warkworth to say hi to some of our favourite local spots.

We'll be popping into chat and share what's on at Smiths and The Stables Matakana, leaving a few bits behind for your customers, and handing out some spot prizes along the way! Make sure you stop us and say hi, you never know you might just win big!

STARS IN DISGUISE has arrived 🎤
Tomorrow night, next door at The Stables!!

Here's the move: pop into Smiths first for Blingo with Flynny (6:30pm, free), then wander on over to The Stables, doors open 7:30pm.

Now here's the best bit. Don't want to sing? Sweet as. Grab a seat, grab a drink and watch some proper local talent get up and give it a go. Legends you didn't even know were hiding round here.

Do want to sing? You're getting the full works. Proper stage, proper sound system, the whole stacks setup.
No pressure, just a mic and a room full of locals cheering you on.
