After a lot of thought and deliberation, we (Sonya & Aimee) have made the difficult decision that the time has come to hand the reins of Urban Eats over to a special person, couple or whānau who can see the vision, recognise the opportunity, and have the passion and drive to take it into its next chapter. 💫
Known as Masterton’s home of the Hot Bowl, Urban Eats is a vibrant, high-energy café with a concept that is genuinely unique to the area.
From our much-loved Hot Bowls, to an extensive range of Bubble Teas, Frappes, Smoothies and Desserts, alongside one of the area’s largest ice cream offerings as well as our successful new Loaded Fries menu, Urban Eats has multiple revenue streams and a proven concept with plenty of opportunity for future growth.

We built Urban Eats from the ground up and have poured our hearts, energy and countless hours into creating something we are incredibly proud of.
Over almost 4 years of trading, we have refined the menu, streamlined the systems, built a strong team and developed processes that allow the business to operate efficiently while continuing to deliver great food and an awesome customer experience.
The concept works.
The brand is established.
The customers are loyal.
The foundations are solid.
And now, Urban Eats is ready for someone new to take the opportunity and run with it. ⛹️♀️
We have built a loyal customer base and a strong local reputation, and we are constantly reminded just how much Urban Eats has become part of the Masterton community.
