We now have a pie van that operates in Albany and Lincoln North during the week and the Woodhill Bikepark on weekends. Our products start with very high quality ingredients. We use only fresh garden vegetables in our fillings. Our chunky beef pies contain 95% visually fat free diced steak. Our mince pies contain premium quality 95% visually fat free beef mince and our chicken is quality, lean, ski
n free chicken breast. The other significant difference is the pastry we use. Our unique pastry is a very thin, 100% puff pastry, resulting in a light satisfying pie. Due to the ultra thin pastry our Jaffle Pies are significantly lower in fat than other pies and much lower in fat than most fast food alternatives. Thumbs Up logo – Jesters are leading the fast food industry by implementing its own healthy criteria and all pies that are less than 5% saturated fat and less than 350mg of sodium per 100gms achieve the Thumbs Up logo. This programme has been discussed with other members of the industry with regards to rolling it out across other providers. Jesters Pies have also been recognised by Weight Watchers and points have been allocated to 12 pies in our range. We combine our tasty ingredients with our unique pastry and cook this in a Jaffle machine, similar in design to a toasted sandwich maker
