The Mapua Sprig and Fern Tavern brings a national award winning brand to Mapua! Located across the road from the popular Mapua Community Hall, the Sprig & Fern is a family friendly tavern open from 12pm –late. The full range of locally brewed craft beer, ales and ciders are served along with a good number of the best local wines. A warm fire and comfy armchairs make having a good long social chat

a real pleasure. Bar meals are available including gourmet pizzas, platters to share and hearty burgers and steaks. We have even brought back the classic Sunday roast in the Winter time! Patrons can enjoy quiz evenings every Thursday from March-November as well as live music at the weekends.

A beer that warms you from the inside out.

Brewed with a rich robust Porter base and the addition of cacao nibs from Hogarth Chocolate who are just down the road from the brewery, this beer delivers smooth layers of chocolate and roasted malt flavour. Crushed Thai chilli compliments the chocolate notes and gives a gentle warming taste sensation.

This work of art has a beef patty, smoked brisket chop, double cheese, to***co onions, IPA aioli, dressed lettuce, pickles, house-made burger sauce on a toasted buttermilk cheese bun served with house cut chips.

Say bonjour to Pierre's Ultimate French Dipper πŸ‡«πŸ‡· Designed by our resident Frenchman, it consists of the chef's kiss combo of toasted baguette, balsamic onion jam, veal pastrami, Little River Brie, McClures sweet and spicy pickles, West Coast IPA Aoili, and a side dipping dish of veal broth. Proof that a toastie can, in fact, be fancy.
