From player to coach, manager, mentor and everything in between, Cherie has dedicated decades to Netball Manurewa and He Poutama Awhina Netball Club. Her unwavering commitment, positivity and care have created opportunities for countless tamariki and supported generations of whānau. At our recent staff event, we recognised several long-serving team members for their dedication and contribution to the Wiri Licensing Trust and our hospitality venues.

Lou, our Duty Manager at Woodside, celebrated ten years of service and is known for his strong work ethic and ability to bring fun to every shift. Catherine, our Marketing and Design Creator, marked five years with us, helping to ensure our brand and online presence remain professional and engaging. We also recognised our chefs, Sammy and Parnell, who each celebrated five years of consistently delivering delicious meals for our guests.

Thank you to our long-serving employees for their commitment, and to all staff who joined us in celebrating together!

Congratulations to Mike Fe'ao, our Volunteer of the Month for June!

Since becoming Co-Chairman of the Papatoetoe Panthers RLFC in November 2025, Mike has led with humility, dedication and a hands-on approach, making a lasting impact both on and off the field. From preparing the club for game days and supporting volunteers to building strong relationships with players, whānau and members, Mike's tireless commitment has strengthened the club and fostered a welcoming, connected community.

Thank you, Mike, for everything you do your hard work and leadership do not go unnoticed. We look forward to hosting you ad Woodside!
