❤️💜 A wonderful splash of RED and PURPLE at The Remarkable Café! 💜❤️

It was such a pleasure to welcome the lovely Red Hat Ladies to the café today for lunch! What a fabulous group of ladies — full of friendship, laughter, fun and plenty of colour. ❤️

The Red Hat Society began in the United States in 1998 and has since grown into a wonderful international social organisation. The movement made its way to New Zealand, where Red Hat groups have been bringing women together for friendship, outings, shared experiences and, of course, a little bit of fabulousness! 👒💜

Traditionally, members embrace the iconic red hats and purple clothing, celebrating life, friendship and the joy of getting together — and they certainly brought that spirit with them today!

Thank you ladies for choosing The Remarkable Café for your lunch. It was an absolute pleasure having you with us, and we hope to see you all again soon! ❤️💜👒

As you know, we are located looking over the beautiful Mangonui Harbour, so with that comes beautiful views, the occasional dolphins and orca viewings… but also seagulls so for that reason we supply water pistols to deter them stealing your food 🔫🔫
