Lower Hutt turned it ON for our last day ☀️ thank you, thank you, thank you!! For all your visits, kind words and purchases today, over the last 2 weeks and the last 7 years. Our community has been the absolute best 💛💛💛 so much love for you all.. and I only cried twice today (so far haha).
I'm so sure I'll see so many of you around the Hutt over the next few months. You can always keep an eye on here for what I do next too!

FELLOW CAFE | END OF AN ERA
It's with a heavy (but definitely ready) heart I'm announcing Fellow Cafe will be closing its doors for the final time on Saturday 22nd October.
What a journey the last 7 years have been! I started Fellow not long after I turned 23 with a "what's the worst that could happen" attitude and hit the ground running. We've been in 4 different spaces at different stages and have had so many wonderful team through the doors. I've enjoyed working with our many incredible suppliers, with a special shout out to for taking the chance on the crazy girl with plans to open a cafe with a 2 week timeline.
I want to be clear on one thing, I am closing the doors because I am tired, I want out before I turn into a bitter and twisted hospo owner (more than I already have haha). For over 7 of the 8 years my husband and I have been together, I've run Fellow. It's time for a new chapter in our life and to do something else.
Yes, COVID hit Fellow hard and the last couple of years haven't been easy but I'm proud of how we adapted Fellow to thrive in these weird old times.
Thank you to all of my friends and family who have jumped in at a moment's notice to do dishes, run coffees, clear tables and provide unending support. Thank you to all our wonderful customers, you're the real MVP. I mean this with my entire heart.. THANK YOU for all the love and support that's been shown over the years. Blows my mind when I think about how many of you have been with us from the beginning. We wouldn't have made it this far without you all! I hope to see you over the next 2 weeks for some Fellow goodness and yarns ♥️

Great to start the morning off with 👌 coffee, beautiful sunshine and some chill vibes at the wonderful Fellow Cafe 😊

This little spot next to the Little Theatre and War Memorial Library is one of my favourite places for coffee in Te Awakairangi - great ethos, yummy Kaz-friendly kai (I'm a lactose intolerant vegetarian 😅), some of the most consistent coffee and some beautiful friendly folks. Open Tues - Sat, 8.30-3pm. Go check it out!

Our small team has been hit hard this winter 🤧 we're a man down today so we'll be open 9.30am - 2pm. Coffee, cabinet food and home fries 💕🙌💯 and, of course, DOUGHNUTS 💕

Our hot chocolate, What the Waffle, has been pumping this week! We've listened to some of your feedback and are now offering a kids sized one (but don't worry, you still get a full waffle pop 🥳)

• FOYER UPDATE •
Part of the Little Theatre foyer is going to be blocked off until the 19th July (all going well 🤞)
We're open our usual hours but can only serve take aways for the first hour. Please feel free to bring your own cups and containers, you can still sit in and enjoy your goodies. All this because our toilets are behind the temporary wall. Once the library opens at 9.30, we have access to their toilets.
Our entrances are either through the library (after 9.30) or the front of the building (by the grassed area).
Thanks for all the support and love y'all show us 💛💛💛 means the world.

A peek at part of a special request for some non-fashion Custom Thrifting... lap blankets to keep you toasty at 🌟 this was such a fun mish!

🖤 Fortunately, I squeezed it in yesterday, as today has been a write-off with husband coming down with the tummy bug with some extra complicationsthrown in. 🤦‍♀️ this family can't catch a break with sicknesses!

There is some construction happening in the Little Theatre foyer over the next week or two. Currently, I'm not 100% sure on how it will impact us so we're just going to go with the flow ☺️ Today we're opening at 9.30.
