Some goodbyes are never easy...
After two and a half incredible years, the time has come for us to turn the page to a new chapter.
Sunday, 12 July will be our final day of trading.
When we first opened our doors, we simply hoped to create a place where people could enjoy good food, great coffee and feel welcome. We never imagined how much this little café would come to mean to us.
Over the past two and a half years, we've had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful people. We've watched families grow, celebrated birthdays and anniversaries, welcomed babies in prams who are now walking through our doors, and shared countless conversations, smiles and laughs with our amazing regulars. What began as a café became a place filled with friendships and memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
Running a small family business has never been easy, but every kind word, every returning customer, every recommendation to a friend, and every cup of coffee or meal you chose to enjoy with us reminded us why we loved doing what we do.
To everyone who has supported us—whether you visited once or a hundred times—thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your breakfasts, lunches, dinners and special moments. Thank you for your patience, your encouragement, your kindness and your loyalty. You have been the heart of Petit Kitchen, and without you, none of this would have been possible.
Although we are saying goodbye to this chapter, we will carry the memories, friendships and love from this community with us wherever life takes us next.
If you've been meaning to visit, we'd love to welcome you one last time before we close our doors. It would mean the world to us to have the chance to thank you in person.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for giving us the opportunity to do what we love for the past two and a half years. It has truly been one of the greatest honours of our lives.
This is not just goodbye to a café.
It's goodbye to a place that became home.
