A huge congratulations to Espresso High for taking 3rd Place in the Judges' Choice Award at the 2026 Sweet As Hot Chocolate Challenge! 🎉

Guest judge Maxine Scheckter praised the drink, saying:

The sesame was such a nice flavour pairing with the chocolate. It was great at tamping down the sweetness.

A well-deserved recognition for a creative hot chocolate that impressed with its unique flavours and balance.

Over 1 year ago we introduced black sesame for a limited time only, but it’s been a staple speciality drink ever since!

The nutty flavour complemented by sweetness has somehow felt nostalgic — reminding us of Choc Nut, a beloved Filipino peanut milk chocolate. Try it on the side of our otherwise vegan (and peanut allergen) friendly Choc-Ini 🍫 The black and white sesame/tahini hot chocolate can be made with your choice of milk.
