Kia ora koutou,

⏰ Only a few days left of the school holidays!

Have you made Kerikeri Mission Station part of your family's school holiday adventure yet? 🌿🐝

There's plenty to discover, explore, and enjoy:

🌟 Call in and say "Kia ora" to our friendly team at the Honey House Café. Enjoy colouring-in activities, play on the riverbanks, and watch the ducks and geese as they go about their day.

🌟 Pick up a Brass Rubbing Trail from the Honey House Café or the Stone Store and explore our beautiful heritage grounds. Can you find all the hidden details?

🌟 Visit the Stone Store Museum and uncover fascinating stories from over 200 years ago. Adult entry is just $15, and accompanying children under 18 visit FREE!

🌟 Take on our Children's Quiz Challenge and earn a special certificate while exploring the museum with your favourite grown-up.

🌟 Wander the gardens, soak up the spring sunshine, and make some family memories before the holidays end.

We'd love to welcome you and your whānau these school holidays!

Ngā mihi,

Kia ora koutou,

Our 5th Honey House Café Book Club will be held on Tuesday, the 27th of October 2026, from 6pm-8pm, as Monday 26th is a public holiday.
If you haven't already heard, this year our monthly gatherings on the last Monday of each month, will take on a slightly different format...
'The Book Club Members Monthly Pick'.

Everyone is invited to choose a book from their own 'To Be Read' or 'Already Read' list. It’s a chance to finally dive into something you’ve been meaning to read, have already read or perhaps something a little outside your usual choice.

At each relaxed gathering, members will be given the opportunity to:
- Share a short excerpt
- Describe their book
- Give a brief “pitch” to the group
It’s a lovely way to discover new reads through each other’s tastes — without the need for everyone to read the same book.

We look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces each month.
Event Details:
📅 Last Monday of each month.
⏰ 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
📍 Honey House Cafe - 246 Kerikeri Road, Kerikeri 0230
☕ Tea, coffee, mulled w**e, cabinet food and sweet slices will be available for purchase.

Remaining 2026 Meeting Dates:

-Rescheduled for Tuesday 27th Oct instead of Monday 26th October, as it is a public holiday (Labour Day).
- 30th November
Cost: Free entry. A gold coin donation would be greatly appreciated and will go towards the upkeep of our historical heritage properties at Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga.

For further enquiries please email [email protected].

Kia ora koutou,

On behalf of everyone at the Kerikeri Mission Station - home of the Stone Store, Kemp House and the Honey House Cafe, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who have reached out with messages of support and well wishes following the recent fire event.
