Happy Father’s Day ❤️

Today we’re celebrating all the wonderful dads, stepdads, grandads, foster dads, father figures, and the men who simply stepped up and chose to be there.

Fatherhood comes in so many different forms.

Sometimes it’s not about biology at all — it’s about the person who shows up, gives their time, offers advice, makes you laugh, worries about you, supports you and loves you through all the different stages of life.

To all the amazing men filling that role in someone’s life, we hope you feel especially appreciated today. ❤️

And because every good Father’s Day should involve something delicious… the cinnamon scrolls are fresh, iced and ready this morning. 😍

☕ PART-TIME CAFÉ SUPERSTAR WANTED – CAFE @ REDWOODS ☕

We’re looking for a friendly, confident and outgoing person to join our front-of-house team at Cafe @ Redwoods in Kerikeri.

This role is all about people. We need someone who genuinely enjoys talking to customers, can make people feel welcome, and is confident working on the till and handling a busy front counter.

You’ll be helping with:
• Taking orders and operating the till
• Greeting and chatting with our customers
• Serving food and drinks
• Clearing tables and keeping front of house looking great
• Helping the team wherever needed

We’re looking for someone who:
• Is confident, bubbly and comfortable talking to all sorts of people
• Is happy and confident working on the till
• Has great customer-service skills
• Can stay calm and organised when we’re busy
• Is reliable, turns up on time and has a good work ethic
• Is willing to muck in and be part of the team
• Is available to work weekends

Previous café or hospitality experience would be great, but personality, confidence and attitude are just as important to us.

This is a part-time position, with weekend work required.

We’re a busy local café with lots of wonderful regulars, so we’re looking for someone who will enjoy getting to know our customers and becoming part of the Redwoods team.

A little colour can make such a difference on a wet day! We've got some beautiful hanging baskets in store and they're just $19.95 each. Perfect for the front porch, patio, or that one sad corner that needs brightening up.

Have you seen this incredibly talented lady?

She sells flowers at the cafe. So so clever.

I just love making flowers. This new creation will be for sale in the future. Any ideas what colours I should go for.
