AN EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT
Kaikoura Sushi, which is made for well-being, is changing to more environmentally friendly packaging. We are changing from using plastic containers to compostable paper ones. Many people have told us that if you put sushi that is very delicious and fresh into a paper container it will match and become both delicious and green for our environment. We are endeavouring to reduce our use of plastic as we try to minimise our footprint in this beautiful place.
We serve you with more luxurious, fresh, nutritious, delicious and cheaper sushi. We have worked hard to become part of Kaikoura community and are proud to serve you with an environmentally sustainable product.
Summer is over now. With the winter season has come the time to enjoy warm food. At Kaikoura Sushi, we have prepared a new menu of chicken donburi ($15,00), shrimp donburi ($15,00) and vegetable rice paper ($6,00) as warm dishes. We believe the new menu will satisfy your tastebuds and become a new specialty in Kaikoura.
Donburi is a Japanese "rice-bowl dish" consisting of fish, meat, vegetables or other ingredients simmered together and served over rice.

Tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday are the last days to taste curry this year. Come and enjoy delicious and fresh curry. We'll start again with delicious and fresh curry next winter.

Kaikoura Sushi’s Notify

Thank you to everyone who comes to Kaikoura Sushi to enjoy our hand=made food. We are very grateful for your support!
Most everybody who has been to our shop says: "It is great sushi.” and others said “I like sushi so I've been to many sushi shops. I think your sushi is the best one."
We are so pleased that people say this about our sushi. We are also very proud of this. It motivates us to do our best to make fresh, healthy, and tasty sushi each and every day.
As many of our patrons know, we have customarily sold our sushi at half price every day after 6 pm. However, from now on we will no longer be able to continue this practice every day.
Instead, we will only do so as necessary, depending on our inventory. The main reason for this is that daily sales fluctuate unpredictably. Some days we have more sushi leftover than on others.
So on any given day, if there is a lot of sushi left over due to sluggish sales, the remaining sushi will sell at half-price. We will post a half-price sale notice on the window or on the store sign to notify our customers, as is our custom.
On other days when our inventory is low, we are unable to make the half-price option available. We hope you will understand.

After the children's vacation, the days usually began.

Japanese curry is available only on Thursdays and Fridays.

The store is closed from this weekend to the following Monday to develop a more substantial menu. Have a good weekend and see you again next Tuesday.
