Meet Ellie, owner of Piece of Cake Invercargill. For the past 12 years, she has been creating beautiful cakes and treats, with the last 3 years spent growing her shop. Inspired by her family's love of cooking, she enjoys bringing joy to people’s celebrations and special moments. 🎂

No two days are the same for Ellie. From baking cookies, scones, and cinnamon rolls to preparing cakes, cupcakes, and cake pops, her days are filled with creating delicious treats and keeping the business running smoothly.

One of the biggest lessons she has learned is to stay humble, honest, genuine, and thankful, especially during the tougher days. These values have helped her navigate the challenges of business ownership.

Ellie says being a woman in business is empowering and rewarding. Inspired by her grandmothers and aunties, her advice to other women is simple: find what makes you happy and follow it.
