Howdy folks! Thanks for all the support and feedback 😃 We love meeting new people and hearing new stories. It is a big part of why we do what we do.

That, and bringing a to others.

Change is a constant, and we are always open to learning. For that reason, we have decided to make a few tweaks here and there....

1. We are going to trial starting later in the morning, from 11am (Sat & Sun) 10am was a bit early for burgers lol

2. We are going to trial (starting next Fri 23 Jan) Fish and Chip Fridays on a Friday night from around 530pm. They will be at a discounted rate.

3. Due to the popularity of our blue cod, we are going to offer other fish, starting with elephant fish (available this weekend).

4. If you have other fish (or menu items) in mind, please leave a comment. If there is enough demand, we will do our best.

5. We will endeavour to have food-to-go options available. If you have any special requests, please let us know!!

We are a small Kiwi owned and operated business, proud to serve you some of our country’s culinary classics like whitebait patties, fish and chips, burgers and more. Where better to serve you this but along one of the most scenic highways in the world - Great Coast Road.

The West Coast scenery is truly breathtaking and Motukiekie Beach is becoming a well-known location for its picturesque qualities. So why not take the time to stop along this beautiful stretch of highway to sample a taste of New Zealand at Kiwiana Kai, all while inhaling the untamed, natural wilderness.

Our aim is to offer you a typical and traditional Kiwiana experience such as having ‘fush and chups’ at the beach and our legendary whitebait patties are made the authentic way - without flour!
