Part bar-café, part restaurant, part antique emporium, a visit to The Apothecary is a totally unique experience. A busy bustling environment mixes industrial chic concrete floors and factory lamps, with an authentic 1950’s continental apothecary shop, that looks like it has just stepped out of a Tin Tin novel. Food here is a passion, with the emphasis on great tasting fresh local produce, with a

mixture of European/Asian and Kiwi influences. We also feature a fully stocked continental-style bar with Peroni and Craft Beers on tap plus a wide selection of quality spirits and local and international wines. Dotted around you’ll discover anything and everything from a goodly selection of newspapers and magazines to Victorian sledges and full sized stuffed trophy animal heads.
