Happy Wednesday team!

This week the action is Pizza Party Thursday - a request from our mates at Haumoana Football Club Inc ❤️

We will have pizza on the menu all day Thursday as well as usual faves of Korean Chicken and Fries w Special Salt. Kid’s menu will be available too.

New to the menu from today is the Marion’s Selction. This is a platter and will include: Cheeseburger Sliders, Korean Chicken, Marion’s Broccoli and Hash Fries, a good sample of everything! $50 and feeds 2-3 people.

The Magpies are playing Sunday this week at 5.05pm, get behind our team!

For our One year Anniversary I am going to do a pre-order of the pink tee and we are also going to do this cool yellow one as well!!! $45 and sizes XS-4XL available. These are unisex tees. Order at the bar ❤️

Bit cold and wet out there but we have the heater on to keep you toasty and warm in here.

And, our gorgeous friends from Lime Rock visited yesterday and left us these fantastic w**es to try - so we thought we would have them on the bar for our w**e lovers to taste this afternoon! I’ve known these guys a long time and am always happy to have a chat about their w**e 🍷Ask at the bar if you’re interested.

Happy Wednesday team!

Far out we have some good stuff on the horizon.

This Saturday night Paul Merritt - Harcourts Hawkes Bay is back with Karaoke - looking forward to hearing all of the talent that this community has on offer!!!

Then, Willsy is back with his talented crew on the 1st of October - yes, it’s a Thursday, consider it the new Friday. And when you get lucky enough to be in the same space as these guys, it doesn’t matter what day of the week it is. SO lucky!!!

And, we have a save the date … Halloween is going to be our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY!!! We can’t believe how quickly the year has gone. There will be live music and dressing up is encouraged. It’s going to be loads of fun, promise.

We have a sports week on.

Saturday night The Warriors are live at 6.05pm.

Sunday is a double header:
9am The All Blacks are live on our big screen. $30pp which includes a buffet breakfast and tea and coffee - as well as getting the team here early 😂. The bar will be open. A ticket must be purchased for entry thanks guys. Talk to the team at the bar.

2.05pm Sunday we have The Magpies live.

Here’s hoping for some more warm weather in our future!

And get those vocal chords warmed up, Karaoke Saturday the 19th 🎶

Little bit of a lost property post guys, this hoodie was left behind on Sunday, is it yours?

Pie of the week is back and this week we have Chicken & Leek - served w Hash Fries and Relish, $26.

And, we have another goodbye 😢 Soph (and George!) are heading back to England next week, so today and Friday will be your last chance to see her before she heads off - unless you’re dining at Clearview over the weekend of course!When Tim asked if we’d like to share staff over winter we jumped at the chance, and far out we have been so lucky to have Soph as part of our team ❤️

Maxi’s Rice w Chicken & Chorizo (Vege option available) will be hitting the menu from this evening, $30 and it is so so tasty.

We have just locked in another Karaoke night with Paul on the 19th, put it in your diaries, not to be missed.

What a night we had last night!!! Far out the talent as always was incredible. Huge thanks to Campbell Burns for bringing his epic new band (Pocket) to Marion’s ❤️❤️❤️

And today, Maxi is teaching Aves how to be an Argentinian Grandmother - soon to be the best Empanada maker in town!

How good is Friday night looking this week. Campbell and his new band, Pocket, will be live from 7pm and we can’t wait!

Also a huge weekend for NPC rugby, kicking off with the Magpies playing tonight at 7.10pm V Southland.

We will have all the NPC games on over the weekend and then Sunday at 4pm we have the Warriors live to round out the week!!!

We have the fire on, but Spring is here next week right, so it will be warm again??? And Friday night live music means dancing, and that always warms everyone up!
