A huge heart felt thank you to everyone who has been in over the past few weeks buying up all the hot x buns! I made over 200 this morning and every single one sold (except the one my wee nephew ate before kindy).

The Salt Cafe team are taking a well earned break over Easter and will be back on board Tuesday. Enjoy your hot x buns tomorrow, eat your body weight in chocolate and enjoy spending time with friends and family.

Hot cross buns are back next week! From Tuesday 17/3 they’ll be available every day until Easter. It’ll be small runs at first, need to ease my way back into the ridiculous 3am starts.

But that also means I’ll have to pause sourdough production until after Easter. The last day for lovely bread will be Thursday this week from the cafe or Friday from bayblueberries

Happy New Year Salt fam!

Now that the silly season is well and truly over (phew) I’ve finally found a few minutes to reflect on some of the wonderful festive events that I catered.

I’ve had the privilege of catering 2 milestone birthdays, countless end of year drinks, hot lunches and relaxed buffet dinners.

If you’ve got an event coming up this year, the team at Salt Cafe would be honoured to help plan the perfect menu.
