Another blueberry season wrapped up. 💙🫐
As harvest comes to a close, we're taking a moment to reflect on another season of growing organic blueberries the way we believe food should be grown.
This season has also ended on a positive note for the wider organic sector, with the appointment of New Zealand’s first dedicated Associate Minister for Organics. It's an encouraging sign that the value of organic growing, healthy soils, biodiversity, and long-term stewardship is being recognised at a national level.
For us, organics has always been about more than blueberries. It's about producing healthy food while caring for the land that sustains us.
A huge thank you to our team, our customers, and everyone who supports organic growing in Aotearoa. Together, you're helping build a stronger future for organic food in New Zealand.
While the harvest bins are now empty, the work continues. Over the coming months we'll be pruning, nourishing our soils, and preparing for the season ahead.
See you again in November.
