CitySide Cafe

15/06/2023

We have reached a decision not to return to our old premise. The length of time closed and the fact our Barista extraordinaire is going back to Italy in July, makes it the best decision for us and our future. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause but think it's the best decision at this time.
We thank you for the support you showed while we were there!

Due to a fire at Cityside Cafe this evening we will be closed temporarily. We will work out logistics and hope to have a plan in the coming days.

JARKs Restaurant and Bar is open as usual from 11am Tuesday to Saturday. We will look into running Cityside Cafe temporarily from JARKs Restaurant and Bar potentially next week

Thank you all for your support in this difficult time ❤️

hi everyone - updating as so many calls and messages, news travels so fast in Hastings
Yes there was a fire at our cafe (not JARKs) the Cityside Cafe at approx 515pm tonight I was called and when I arrived the fire service were there and there was black smoke billowing out

Pretty messed up but the building is ok its all internal damage
It appears a fridge might have caused it but unsure until investigated fully

We will keep you all posted as to when we can re open as we certainly will be, it's a matter of when

In the mean time thanks for your support, we will be back as soon as possible.
