HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW 🦩

With our opening just around the corner, we thought we’d share a little more about what you can expect from our new sister store.

What is The Larder?
The Larder is a bespoke retail store filled with beautiful artisan pantry products and our range of Frozen TV Dinners — delicious, easy dinner options made by the Long Island Deli team.

We’ll also be sharing recipes and serving suggestions featuring products available in-store, giving you plenty of inspiration for creating delicious meals at home.

A few things to know
The Larder won’t be a café, and Long Island Deli isn’t moving! The seating inside The Larder will provide extra space for customers enjoying food purchased from the deli, just two doors away.

When are we opening?
🎉 Grand Opening: Tuesday 29 September

Our trial opening hours will be:
Tuesday–Friday: 9am–5pm
Saturday: 10am–3pm

There is a flamingo on the wall, a counter full of colour, and a herringbone floor that makes you want to stay longer than you planned.

The morning light comes in soft this time of year, and it lands right across the cabinet. Salads, sandwiches, cakes, all lined up and waiting.

It's a good spot to sit with a coffee on a late-winter day. Come find us in the Municipal Building on Heretaunga Street. 🌞

Kale and Brussels sprouts sound like a punishment until someone shreds them fine, roasts them well, and treats them like they matter.

That's one of the salads in the counter today. Shredded kale and Brussels sprouts, anchovy, Parmesan and a zingy lemon dressing.

We are at capacity all next week for catering, the deli will be open as usual every day from 9 so if you’ve left it a bit late, swing on in and the team can box something up.
