Canโt believe itโs already been a whole year since we took over Yummy Bowl!
A year ago, we were just two newlyweds who wanted to build something of our own.
Sam was working nights as a chef, I was working mornings as a baristaโฆ and somehow we barely saw each other even though we were newly married ๐
Then Yummy Bowl came along.
And what a year itโs been!
Weโve made SO many mistakes, broken things, stressed out, laughed, argued, worked in the rain, travelled to places weโd never been beforeโฆ and even had a day where our total sales were literally $3 from ONE bottle of water ๐
But little by little, people started coming back.
We started recognising familiar faces, getting our own regulars, meeting so many lovely customers and vendors, and hearing people tell us they enjoyed our food. ๐ฅน
Then somehow, only 8 months after taking over, we upgraded our food truck AND changed our vehicle to tow it.
We definitely didnโt expect that when we first started ๐โค๏ธ
But the best part of all?
We finally get to spend our days together, working side by side and building something that belongs to the two of us.
And we know we couldnโt have done any of this without you.
To everyone who has bought our food, come back again, told a friend about us, followed us to another town, or simply stopped by to say hiโฆ

Weโre still learning every day and weโve got a long way to go, but weโre really excited to see what our second year brings!
