The Wailing Bongo Former Waikato University Bar from late 90's, I had so many good times here I just wanted to create a site to post memories, stories, online memorabilia.

Spent my late teens / early twenties with my best buds at the Bongo, good times, cheap drinks, great great bands. Please post your favourite memories!

Their first track appeared in 2000, on a Dawn Raid debut compilation (Southside Story – ‘No Foes’) and they appeared alongside Scribe on ‘Synchronize Thoughts’, a breakthrough single by P-Money. 4 Corners’ album, Foundations, cemented their place as origin
