Have you thought about entering eggs in our upcoming Waikato Poultry & Pigeon Club Show?

You don't need to have any birds entered to exhibit eggs—everyone is welcome to enter!

Egg entries will be accepted on Friday from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Entry fee: Just $1 per exhibit for both Junior and Open exhibitors. Juniors entering only egg classes do not pay a show fee.

To enter the standard egg class, bring 3 eggs that are as similar in shape, size, and colour as possible. They do not need to come from purebred chickens—backyard hens are welcome too!

Judging Tips:
• Eggs should be clean and free from dirt or stains.
• All three eggs should be consistent in shape, size, and shell colour.
• Shells should have a good, even texture.
• Please don't polish your eggs, as polished eggs will lose points.

🎨 We also have a Decorated Egg section, so if you're feeling creative, we'd love to see your designs!

Whether you're a regular exhibitor or trying it for the first time, we'd love to see your entries. It's a fun, inexpensive way to be part of the show, and you don't even need to exhibit poultry to enter
