Date and custard scones on the rise and fresh from the oven, made here at The River Kitchen. I seriously have lost count of how many years I’ve been making these little gems or more to the point how long I’d care to admit. It would be interesting to work out the maths on how many I’ve made to date. Each day they are baked and then out the door they go. Here’s to a scone that’s been with us from the start. Xx
