In Chinese culture, the Snake represents transformation and renewal, often symbolizing new beginnings or changes. 🐍 So we wish you all a wonderful and recharged year ahead.

Good evening everyone! If you are having a relaxing time tomorrow at home and want to join us to celebrate Chinese New Year early. Please come to our takeaway (73 Ohaupo Road, Melville) at 10am on 6 February 2024 (tomorrow) to enjoy the Lion Dance performance.

The Chinese Lion Dance is believed to bring good luck and happiness. Also driving away evil spirits.

So come along and enjoy 🦁

Singdar Takeaways is looking to find ourselves a new deep fry cook! It does not matter whether you do/ do not have experience handling a fryer before, as long as you are a keen and fast learner.

If you have been at our takeaways before you would know when we get busy... IT IS BUSY! So you would need to be able to multitask, work well under pressure and able to communicate confidently.

If you know someone that is looking for a job please share this with them! We are super keen for someone that will fit well with our team.

Although experience is not that important for the right person, please still have a CV printed out with you.

Good evening everyone! WE would just like to say thankyou to everyone that made the first day back that much more easier! 🥰 WE didn't realise how many people would be eating from us today and was honestly overwhelmed~ If anyone hasn't already please look at our post from yesterday to see how we are operating!

We know that we have a few shortcomings with the new launch of online ordering and how the process is going with contactless ordering and order pick up. BUT we are sure to keep improving to get our service to run as smoothly as possible! 😁

We have decided STOP using the texting system as it was so overwhelming and we had to turn away quite a few customers and even our calling customers. We do want to apologise as we were getting too many orders than we can handle in a short amount of time and short staffed. 😔

ALSO we have left some pieces of paper outside as we learnt from today that it is really hard to hear each other.
So those that ordered on booknorder please write your name and order number to show to us.
Those that used phone calling please write your name and number :)

Good evening everyone! I know we are a small community on this page right now, so would really appreciate it if you could all spread the word for us! 🥰

PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW CAREFULLY as we want everyone to be safe 😀

As everyone knows, Level 3 means we can only operate the store if businesses can offer services which DOES NOT involve face-to-face contact or sustained close contact.

Firstly, our working hours have changed:
Monday: 4pm - 8:45pm
Tuesday to Sunday: 12:30pm - 8:45 pm

What we have decided to do now is:
1. This link is the online website in which you can order online for pick up or delivery (please be advised deliveries are done by the booknorder company and we do not take responsibility if the quality of food may degrade)

2. We still take phone orders and will ask for your name and cellphone number. Your orders can be paid via eftpos, debit/credit card and pay wave upon pick up. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH.

HOW THE ORDER PICK UP PROCESS WILL GO:
Customers will NOT be able to walk into the store.
We recommend customers to wait in a line with a safe distance between each other.

It does not matter which method you use to order, there is always an estimate of time in which your order will be completed and ready to be picked up.

1. If you use the booknorder website please line up in a line 2 metres apart from each other by the PICK UP table and confirm with us your name and phone number before proceeding to collect your order from which we place on the table. If for any reason that your order is not completed we will advise you to go back into your car and wait for our text to pick up your order.

2. If you have ordered via phone calling please arrive around the pick up time. You will then wait in a line of 2 metres apart, upon collecting, we will ask for your name and phone number. If for any reason your order is not complete, we kindly ask you to wait in your car and we will text you when your order can be picked up. In this way it means you will pay when the order is ready to be collected.
