Whanau Kitchen

So this happend today - whanau kitchen hosted there first private catering event today at te kowhai school.

The kura were wanting an authentic traditional hangi where the meal was prepd and cooked in the ground. And we were able to make it happen for them.

This was a first for many of the students and teachers, including whanau kitchen - having to show case our tikanga as maori, our unity as whanau and how we work together in this space.

Huge thank you to te kowhai school and their staff (Cameron) that supported our whanau through out the whole process such a beautiful team of teachers and lead by such a humbled priciple.

I hope we did our cultural heritage justice and provided you with the experience you were expecting.

Also huge mihi to our whanau that turnd up today to awhi the kaupapa adds value to our kaupapa of providing our services to the people
