We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join the team at Gothenburg - one of Hamilton’s favourite destinations for great food, great service and a great dining experience.

Gothenburg is a busy, well-established restaurant with a strong reputation for quality tapas-style dining, and we’re looking for a chef who is excited to be part of a kitchen that takes pride in what it does.

You’ll be an experienced chef who:

Has 2+ years’ experience in a la carte dining
Holds a formal culinary qualification from Wintec or similar
Has a genuine passion for food and hospitality
Takes pride in quality, consistency and presentation
Works well under pressure and enjoys a fast-paced kitchen
Is a positive team player who enjoys working collaboratively
Has the ambition to learn, develop and take on more responsibility

Full time and Part time positions available:

- At least 1 year hospitality experience with seated dining and table service required.

- Full time 30 - 40 hours per week. Part time 15 - 25 hours per week. Rostered hours across our opening hours, Monday - Saturday lunch and dinner.
(We are closed on Sunday)

- Experience in bar and private event work is an advantage.

- We can provide on the job training to grow your capabilities in dining, bar work, private event hosting and more.
