We’re on the lookout for versatile and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Experiential Casual staff. If you’re happy to turn your hand to anything and enjoy being part of a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

🍳Join Our Team as a Casual Cook at Kinloch Wilderness Retreat🍳

We’re looking for a talented and reliable cook to join our team on a casual basis for August and September and potentially on an ongoing basis. This role involves:

2 full day shifts per week
Covering additional shifts during staff leave from 28 August - 4 September and 12 - 25 September
Extra breakfast shifts as needed
This role offers the potential for an ongoing position during our high season for the right candidate.

We need someone who is:

A competent cook, comfortable working alone in the kitchen
Flexible and ready to step in as needed
Enjoys interacting with customers and can provide friendly service on quieter days

We've been so busy renovating and then running the cafe that we haven't shared any photos! In December the staff operated out of our lovely ice cream trailer for a couple of days while we tore the place apart, gave it some love and then a whole new look and name! Still the same great food from Kinloch Wilderness Retreat, delicious coffee from Patagonia Chocolates and soft drinks from Karma Drinks NZ, Benjer Drinks Co., Daily Organics and b.effect brewing company.
