Appreciation post !!!
For my incredible team of young people and the great work they do at Rosebowl.
Saturday was extremely busy and as always on hospitality we are pulled from dishes to clearing tables to serving customers. Sometimes we ask our team to do multiple things at once and its actually stressful for them.
Customers will stop you and ask questions as they are trying to run out meals yet somehow the team holds it all together.
Yesterday was a day to test anyone who works in hospo but yet my team carried on and never a grump or complaint.
I work with some amazing young people who even tho we got a bad review because tables weren't cleared when they shop was so full you could barely move they just keep going, they keep trying to get everything done while feeling overwhelmed and stressed.
I am so proud of the team and they should be super proud of the job they do xx

A huge congratulations to Korbin on officially completing his 3-year Pastry Apprenticeship! 👏🎂🥐

Becoming a qualified baker is no easy task. It takes dedication, commitment, and a real passion for the trade. Over the past three years, Korbin has put in countless hours of hard work, including the tough 3am starts, long shifts, and the unsocial hours that come with working in the baking industry while most people are still asleep.

Throughout his apprenticeship, Korbin has continued to build his skills and knowledge across all areas of the bakery, taking on challenges, learning new techniques, and always striving to improve. His growth over the last few years has been fantastic to watch, and he has become a valued and respected member of both our bakery team and the wider Rosebowl family.

The baking industry can be demanding, but Korbin’s commitment, positive attitude, and willingness to learn have helped him reach this milestone, and we couldn’t be prouder of what he has achieved.

Congratulations Korbin — this is a massive achievement and one that you should be incredibly proud of. We’re excited to see what the future holds for you! 🎉
