Temporary Road Closure
Piako Road will be closed between SH26 and Matuku Road from 14 January to 28 February while pavement rehabilitation works are completed.

The closure will be in place from Monday to Friday: 7.00am – 7.00pm
Some Saturday works may also take place between 7.00am – 5.00pm.

Access will still be available for residents, school buses, rubbish trucks, and other essential services during the closure.

Detours:
Eastbound traffic can use the detour via Matuku Road and Hangarewa Road (see detour map).
Westbound traffic is encouraged to use SH26 towards Eureka and Hamilton

Thanks for your patience while we carry out these works. Please follow all signage and allow a bit of extra time for your journey.

Hay guys….im in the hunt for decent generator to hire for the next 8 weeks while tha main road to morrinsville is being rebuilt…..is there anyone out there that could help me out pretty please. Happy to pay for hire and service it etc just need something asap so can move myself to a spot that works 🙌🏻
