Today marks Immi’s last day with us.

Over the past five years at Bean on Water, Immi has become an invaluable member of our team. From creating countless delicious cabinet treats to welcoming our customers with her genuine warmth and friendly smile, she has made a lasting impact on both our team and our community.

Immi has decided it's time for a new chapter outside of hospitality, and while we'll miss her dearly, we're excited to see where this next adventure takes her.

Thank you Immi, for your hard work and dedication over the years. We wish you every success and happiness for the future—you'll always be part of the Bean on Water family.

Matariki Hours ✨

Bean on Water Café will be closed this Friday as we take time to celebrate Matariki with our whānau and loved ones.

We'll be back on Monday with our regular opening hours, ready to welcome you in for your favourite coffee and café treats.

Today marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Bean on Water, and we’re thrilled to introduce ourselves as the new owners.

Firstly, we’d like to say a huge thank you to Shannon and the incredible Bean on Water team for everything they’ve built over the past five years. We’re honoured to continue the journey and appreciate all the hard work that has made Bean on Water such a special place.

A little about us – Karen will be at the café full time, while Liam will be helping out part time as he continues teaching locally. We’re both looking forward to meeting our customers, getting to know the community, and serving great coffee and food in the friendly atmosphere Bean on Water is known for.

We're also delighted that Immi will be staying on, continuing to create the delicious baked goods that so many of you already know and love. We'd also like to extend a big welcome to Claire, Brayden, and Nick as they join the team!

Thank you for the warm welcome we've already received. We can't wait to meet you all and look forward to seeing you in the café soon!

That’s a wrap! ❤️ After 5 amazing years, it’s time for a new chapter. Bean on Water has officially been sold.

We want to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing customers for your support, kindness, and loyalty over the years. You’ve helped make Bean on Water so special.

We will be closed on Monday for handover and the new owners will begin on Tuesday.

A massive thank you to my incredible team, they have kept the cafe going while I have been living in Christchurch ❤️

We wish the new owners all the very best as they begin this exciting new chapter.
