Another pukumahi evening at Pātaka Ora!
We had another full house tonight and it was a pleasure to put on a ātaahua hakari for the hāpori!

Ngā mihi to all our wonderful volunteers! Cheers to our international tauira, our Electoral Commission whānau and the Unicrew rōpū!

A big mihi to KiwiHarvest and all our other amazing donors of kai and pūtea. We appreciate all your ongoing awhi and tautoko.

We will be having a bit of a break due to the school holidays. Our next meal service is on Monday 19th October at 6pm.

P.S You can still enrol to vote and update your details at vote.nz until October 25th.

There is also a mock voting day on Wednesday 10am to 2pm at Nations Church on Hillside Road, South Dunedin.

This Friday is the first Araiteuru Marae Night Market from 5pm. We will also have local party candidates having a kōrero.

Hope everyone is enjoying the spring weather!

Our next meal service is on Monday 21st September at 6pm. Bring your containers for leftover kai. Look forward to seeing you in a weeks time.

Also on Friday 25th September in the evening we have our first Friday market. Come along and tautoko the kaupapa. Nau Mai Haere Mai 🤗

You still have until October 25th to enrol to vote for the General election on November 7th. Go to vote.nz to enrol and check your details. Do it for yourself, your whānau and the hāpori.

Kia ora e te whānau

A tad short notice but there's The Māori Women’s rugby team vs Otago, Canterbury and Southland teams & Colts Otago vs Canterbury and Waitaha
at the stadium tomorrow. Game starts at 12pm.

The Electoral Commission is also looking for people (especially Māori) to tautoko and help with getting people in particular Māori Rangatahi (18 to 25 years) enrolled to vote as the numbers are still pretty low.

So if you are keen to be involved come along from 11.30am and head to the Electoral Commission stall (Stacey Jackson will be there) and she will give you the info on what to do. The event goes until 4pm so if you have availability you are welcome to come along anytime to tautoko.
