Let’s be honest, loose leaf tea isn’t actually difficult. Convenience is easy.
You need tea, hot water, a cup and something to strain the leaves.

Scoop. Pour. Wait. Strain. Then drink your tea.

No perfect teaware. No elaborate ceremony. No need to turn it into a big thing.

It can be your morning reset, your mid-afternoon pause, or the cup you forget beside you while getting on with everything else.

Loose leaf tea can be easy too. Made for real life.

The winter solstice has passed, but it still feels very much like we are in the deep middle of winter here in Cromwell.

There is snow sitting on the hills, the mornings are slow to begin, and I keep finding myself wanting things that feel grounding, warming, and a little more intentional.

A pot of tea is one of those things.

I’ll be honest, I have never really been a black tea drinker. But after Go Green, and making sure I was tasting everything before it went out onto the table, Earl Grey has started growing on me.

I genuinely didn’t think it would.

There is something about the black tea, with that little citrus lift of bergamot through it, that feels really good at this time of year. Warm and steady, but still with enough life in it to wake things up a little.

Maybe I am learning to meet my taste buds where they are at, instead of assuming I already know what I like.

Have you found yourself reaching for a tea you never thought you’d like? Or are you a classic through and through?

Our little Wild Seeds tote, ready to wander.

For market mornings, library books, flowers from the roadside stall, a jar of tea, a loaf of bread, or the tiny everyday things that somehow all need to come with you.

There’s something I love about useful things made beautiful.

A cotton bag that folds down small, lives by the door, gets grabbed on the way out, and slowly becomes part of your rhythm.

Wild Seeds was never just about the tea on the shelf. It’s about the world around it too. The little rituals. The things we reach for. The small details that make ordinary days feel more considered.

Reusable, practical, lovely.

Just how we like it.

Three and a half weeks since Auckland Go Green Expo, and I’m still thinking about the conversations.

The people who stopped, tasted, asked questions, shared their favourite teas, talked about daily rituals, gifting, digestion, sleep, mornings, evenings, and the tiny moments that make a day feel a little more held.

Wild Seeds has always been about premium Organic Loose Leaf Tea made for real life.

For the kitchen bench.
The office drawer.
The quiet cup after school drop-off.
The pot shared with someone you love.
The gift that says, “I thought of you.”

Being at was such a beautiful reminder that tea isn’t just tea. It’s connection. It’s memory. It’s a small, steady thing we return to.

Grateful for everyone who came by, tasted, chatted, and carried a little piece of Wild Seeds home.
