❤️ HOUSIE PROFITS – GIVING BACK TO COROMANDEL! ❤️

Housie has become a HUGE hit at The Admirals, and now we want to turn all those cards, calls and cries of “HOUSE!” into something good for our local community. 🙌

We’re looking for local non-commercial clubs, groups and community organisations that could use a helping hand, so we can donate proceeds from our Housie nights back into the Coromandel community.

And we want YOU to tell us who deserves some support!

Now here's a cool local story for you all.

"This is a photo of the vessel Daisy Belle built in Auckland and launched in 1949 for Mr S Vella and Mr Peter Bronlund my grandfather.

Peter was originally from the Bronlund family who settled at Port Jackson in the late 1800s. I was so glad to see the photo had survived the recent amazing renovation of the Admirals Arms, a place where Peter was a regular visitor after dropping off his catch at the Coromandel town wharf.

It is great to see the new owners had decided to keep this and other photos that represent a small part of the history of our town. Well done to the Admirals Arms I really appreciate you saving the photo, Cheers Scott Carr"

The photo is now back where it belongs with Peter and his family.
