What an incredible first A Passage to India evening we had at Olivers! ❤️

The food, the atmosphere, the music and the wonderful people who joined us made it such a special night — so much so that once simply wasn’t enough! ✨

We’re bringing it back for a second evening, with an entirely new Indian banquet menu created by our talented chefs Kunal & Sami, filled with bold, warming flavours inspired by India.

A huge thank you to the beautiful Manisha, who brought the evening to life with her wonderful entertainment and performance. We’ve shared a few photos from our first evening below!

📢 We’re Expanding Our Opening Hours! 🍽️

We’re excited to let you know that Oliver’s Restaurant is now open for dinner from 6:00 pm, Wednesday to Saturday each week.

Even more exciting, from mid-September we’ll be open 7 nights a week, giving you even more opportunities to enjoy an evening with us.

Whether it’s a midweek catch-up, date night, or a special celebration, we’d love to welcome you.

The Merchant of Clyde Café is officially open again from today! 🎉

Come in and enjoy your favourite coffee, delicious cabinet treats, breakfast, or lunch. We’d love to welcome you back and see some familiar faces.

❄️ Winter Closure Notice ❄️

Olivers Restaurant & Bar is now closed for a short winter break and essential maintenance.

We would like to thank all of our wonderful guests for your continued support and look forward to welcoming you back when we reopen on Wednesday 22nd July.

The cafe will re-open this Friday 25th June and will be open daily 8am - 3pm. ☕️

Following our reopening, dinner service will be available Wednesday to Saturday from 6.00pm.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Closed on Sunday

Bar 🍷
Open daily from midday

Restaurant
Open for dinner daily from 6pm

During the Wine & Food Festival, the bar will be open throughout the afternoon, with the restaurant opening for dinner service from 6pm.

This beautiful kiwi sculpture is part of the Kiwi Art Trail, where you can discover stunning kiwi artworks as you cycle the Alexandra–Clyde Loop. 🚴‍♀️🥝

Make sure to pop in and say hello when you’re passing through! It’s all part of this free, family-friendly trail celebrating our national icon while supporting kiwi conservation efforts.
