Meet Ed, our head chef 👨‍🍳

He started in the kitchen at a young age and has a wealth of experience working in high end London restaurants, hotels and leading the kitchen in several award-winning Queenstown cafes.

He’s passionate about seasonal flavours and honest, simple food. Ed moved to NZ in the early 2000s and initially settled into Queenstown, with several big adventures cooking on boats headed to the Arctic, and Antarctica added in to the mix.

Ed moved to Christchurch early last year, taking up his role as head chef at Pavilions hotel. He’s enjoying bringing his love of food into the kitchen here, and is looking forward to sharing more seasonal, tasty food with its well-loved patrons.
