Here at Abalone Thai Restaurant, we’re all about community, we’re all about being a place for people, we’re all about our team & we’re all about keeping each other safe. Sometimes we do things that might feel really uncomfortable but ultimately, it’s about doing something that is right for as many people as possible.
The current COVID protection framework is the best option for us to carry on doing what we do best.
We hope that after these unprecedented times, we will find a way back to an inclusive, safe new normal NZ.
So friends from today(Friday 3 December), we will be operating under the traffic light system and to visit us, you will need to show your vaccine passport.
We will be using the NZ verifier app at the door, this will be for each time you visit.
If you are unable to join us because you don't have the vaccination pass. We can still serve you through our take away menu and you can still enjoy our food in the comfort of your own home with Whanua.
We’ll be doing our best to navigate our way through this and we ask that you’re patient, kind and don’t take any frustrations out on us.
