The Rockpool Est. 1995 The Rockpool is Christchurch's premier entertainment and dining venue. Opened in 1995, closed in 2011, reopened 2015.

We have a restaurant serving breakfast from 7 AM through to lunch and dinner served until late. With snacks and pizzas available all hours of operation. Thirteen pool tables, a gaming room with 18 machines and a self service TAB machine. DJs are rolling every night, with plenty of live sport on the big screen from Thursday through Saturday.

We’ve got NRL kicking off Thursday night, Dragons v Dolphins and Storm v Bulldogs on Friday, then a stacked Saturday with PFL from 8am, Titans v Warriors at 5pm and Canterbury v Auckland live from One NZ Stadium at 7:10pm.

Another big week on the screens at Rockpool.

DJs all week, World Cup knockouts, NRL, All Blacks v Ireland, Warriors v Dragons, UFC and the World Cup Final Monday morning.

Thursday starts with England v Argentina from 7am, Saturday brings a huge double header with All Blacks v Ireland live at Rockpool and Warriors v Dragons showing upstairs at Micky Finn’s, both with full commentary.

Then Monday, we’re open for the World Cup Final from 7am.

Wow Christchurch, what a weekend that was.

The All Blacks in town had the city absolutely humming, and we’re backing it up with another chocka block week at Rockpool.

We’ve got DJs rolling all week, State of Origin on Wednesday, Tigers v Warriors on Friday night, the All Blacks back on the big screen Saturday, then UFC 329 on Sunday with McGregor v Holloway from 1pm.

Basically, plenty of reasons to come in and stay a while.

Te Kaha is bringing another huge weekend to Christchurch.

We’ve got DJs rolling all through the week, live sport across the weekend, and one of the biggest game days the city has seen in a while.

Friday kicks off with Portugal v Croatia in the World Cup Round of 32 at 11am.

Then Saturday is the big one. The All Blacks are back in Christchurch, taking on France at One New Zealand Stadium at Te Kaha. We’ll be showing the game live from 7:10pm, with Micky Finn’s upstairs open from 4pm, $8 Murphy’s pints and full game day atmosphere.

We’re already filling up for game day, so bookings are highly recommended if you want to lock in your spot.

Christchurch, this is going to be huge.

The All Blacks are back in Christchurch, taking over One New Zealand Stadium at Te Kaha, and Rockpool is the place to be before, during and after the game.

We’re already filling up, so bookings are highly recommended if you want to lock in your spot.

Big screens, cold drinks, game day atmosphere and the city buzzing.

𝑴𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒚 𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒏'𝒔 will also be open upstairs, showing the game with plenty of space to settle in and enjoy $8 Murphy’s pints.

Big week on the screens at Rockpool.

We’re rolling from midweek with the NBA Draft on Wednesday, World Cup group games across Thursday and Saturday, plus a full weekend of NRL action.

Saturday is the big one, with the All Whites taking on Belgium at 3pm, followed by Dolphins v Warriors at 5pm and Cowboys v Panthers at 7:30pm.

Live music is also running through the week, with DJs everyday of the week.
