Early Starts | Fast-Paced Kitchen | Small Team Environment

We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working baker to join our busy kitchen team. This role suits someone who enjoys working at pace, takes pride in consistency, and doesn’t mind jumping in wherever needed.

Hours:
Monday to Thursday/Friday
6:00am start – finish around 2:00/3:00pm

About the role:
This is a hands-on position in a small production kitchen, so no task is beneath anyone. One minute you’ll be baking, the next lifting ingredients, washing dishes, packing orders, or helping keep the kitchen running smoothly.

What we’re looking for:
• Some baking or kitchen experience preferred
• Fast, efficient worker with good time management
• Physically capable of lifting heavy ingredient bags and trays
• Happy to help with dishes and general kitchen cleaning
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn our systems
• Reliable, practical, and able to work independently
• Good sense of humour essential

You’ll be working closely with two mildly chaotic Gen X women who work hard, move fast, laugh a lot, and expect everyone to pull their weight. If you like calm corporate environments, this probably isn’t your dream job. If you enjoy good banter, great baking, and getting stuck in, you’ll fit right in.

We’re happy to train the right person in how we do things — attitude and work ethic matter more than knowing everything already.

Baker’s Assistant – If You Love Cleaning, You’ll Love This Job 🧽🥐

We’re on the hunt for a hard-working Baker’s Assistant who isn’t afraid of rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in.

Let’s be very clear from the start:
👉 This role involves a LOT of cleaning.
And then some more cleaning.
(With a side of simple, repetitive baking.)

The role:
• Heavy emphasis on cleaning, sanitising & keeping the kitchen spotless
• Assisting with basic, repetitive baking tasks (full training provided)
• Following systems, recipes, and routines
• Working efficiently and reliably in a fast-paced environment

The environment:
• Small team
• You’ll be working closely with the same two slightly unhinged Gen X women
• We don’t take ourselves too seriously
• We will not tolerate judgement in the kitchen
❌ No food snobbery
❌ No side-eye
✅ The only judgement allowed is whatever trashy reality TV is on during lunch 😉

You are:
• A genuinely hard worker
• Happy doing repetitive tasks
• Proud of leaving things cleaner than you found them
• Reliable, punctual, and drama-free
• Able to laugh, take direction, and just get on with it
