Junior and Moriarty have been adopted! 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🏡

We posted about these two boys looking for their forever home a couple of weeks ago and the perfect home came along almost straight away!

We didn’t get to have these guys in the main room at the cafe unfortunately as Moriarty wasn’t good with the other cats (and these two are very bonded so needed to stay together!). But some of you were lucky to spend time with them in our intake room and we / our staff spent a lot of time having cuddles with them (and being climbed all over by Junior!)

We’re glad they found a home so quickly and we’ve heard from their new family that they are settling in very well and they just adore them. We’re not surprised! You can see a couple of photos of them in their new home at the end ❤️

It's still pretty chilly out there, so we're launching the Catnap Tracksuit for a limited… run! 🏃

This thing is super comfy, with a pretty relaxed fit and not-too-heavy materials meaning you can still actually get stuff done... or not, it's also very good for just lounging around like a cat 😽

The set is made from warm grey mid-weight cotton-rich fabric, with subdued Catnap graphics - the crew features the Catnap logo, the pants feature the Catnap text down the right leg.

This is a pre-order only item, with orders open until 11 October. Once we have all of our orders it'll take a few weeks to get them made. You can order each item individually, or the whole tracksuit at a slight discount.

PS: I've been meaning to launch this for like a year but keep putting it off so I'm finally doing it, if even just so I can cross it off my to-do list 😅 I mean, it is super comfy, I'm unintentionally in full tracksuit mode just to post this!

Crunchie has officially been adopted! 🐈‍⬛🏡

We’re so happy for our little bug girl, she was a bit of a tricky one when it came to finding her a home but she now has a wonderful one! ❤️

We had attempted Crunchie's adoption twice before but she refused to eat or drink in her new home and had to come back to the cafe. (No fault of the initial adopters!) After the first time we put her on anti anxiety medication and tried again a month later but alas still no luck! So we left her to settle back in at the cafe for a while until another lovely family came along who were keen to give her a try.

She has been on an adoption trial for a couple of months as we wanted to make sure she settled in and got along with the existing cat. This time, after a few tense days, she started to eat and drink! After that she actually made quite fast progress and her new family started to see all her silly little quirks come out! Now she is all settled in and her new home is official 🥰

It was so lovely to watch Crunchie’s progress over her time at the cafe! She was very timid when she first arrived and wouldn’t even let us touch her for the first month or so. Slowly, she came to accept pats but eventually, she would demand them! She would follow us around staring at us with her big wide golden eyes and how could we resist giving her all the attention?!

She’s a super playful and silly girl as well and very good at entertaining herself, and us! She was always making us laugh! 🤪

We are so happy for Crunchie and proud of how far she has come ❤️

Update: The boys have found a home! ❤️

Looking to adopt a bonded pair? 🐈‍⬛❤️🐈‍⬛

These two ten month old boys are looking for their forever home together! They are a very sweet pair, often competing for your attention. Moriarty is usually the first one to curl up on your lap and then Junior will try to squeeze in too (if he’s not already sitting on your shoulder). They love people and each other and spend a lot of time snuggling together. They are still young so very energetic and playful!

We have tried them in the main room at the cafe but unfortunately Moriarty is a bit too aggressive with the other cats so we are doing their adoption straight from one of our intake rooms. This does mean they will likely need to be only cats. They wouldn’t be suitable for young children either as Junior can be a bit intense with his affection!

Sunny has been adopted! ☀️🐈‍⬛🏡

We loved having this gentle, sweet boy at the cafe! He certainly charmed many customers as well with his extreme handsomeness and cuddly nature ❤️ Our younger cats loved him too, sometimes using his fluffy belly as a pillow and coaxing him into play fights 😸

He is settling in to his new home well, we hear he likes the bath tub and sinks! 🛁🚰

Round two, photos from the second week of the Catnap 8th Birthday Tattoo Event!

Not much more to say, but I’ll shout out 𝓔𝓫𝓸𝓷𝔂 and Emma ⟡ Tattoo Artist again for helping to make such an awesome event, thanks pals!

This week I’m doing that whole Y2K thing, photos taken on a Panasonic CCD camera from 2008. I like the look, but that might just be an early-life crisis sneaking up on me 🥲

Better late then never, so here are the photos from the first week of the Catnap 8th Birthday Tattoo Event!! 😸

This whole event was so much fun, and a huge thank you to Ebony (IG: ej__tattoo) and Emma (IG: emmalillytattoos) for hauling all your gear down to the cafe and inking up some of our coolest customers!

We only had enough tattoo spots for eight people, but the remainder still got to get inked up... by way of some honestly pretty high quality water transfer tattoos 🤙

Week two photos up tomorrow with a bit of a different vibe photography-wise so keep an eye out.
