Empire Coffee was started in 2016 by two brothers who couldn't find a mobile coffee cart serving high quality coffee in Christchurch. A combination of passion for outstanding coffee, as well as access to the best equipment possible, means Empire Coffee can bring you perfect coffee from a mobile cartOur coffee is extracted using industry standard two group Wega coffee machines.Our beans are acquire

d from Heron Coffee Roasters, who are based in Christchurch and focus on sourcing and roasting high quality green coffee beans from around the worldWe grind our beans using Simonelli Mythos One grinders. These give a consistent milling chamber temperature ensuring a constant dose and therefore a higher quality of espresso extractionOur setups are transported in two three wheeled Piaggio Apes, one is a 2009 model and the other is 2017. Both have a top speed of between 30 and 45 kmph, depending on the direction the wind is blowing!

Not only were we pumping in at Riverside Market but the team took the cart down the road to Warbirds Over Wanaka for the weekend- one of our favourite events to attend the show this year was epic as always 🚁🛩️‼️
