Pier Side Bar New Brightons Seaside Gastropub in Christchurch The Penguin Arms is a seaside gastropub located in New Brighton, Christchurch.

There's something for everyone - whether it is sunning yourself in the garden bar, playing pool in the main bar, watching Sky Sport, hanging on the seats with friends, or having a feed in the lounge room. Our 7-day entertainment schedule includes

Friday * Happy hours 4:30pm to 7 pm Sky Sport and Live Music (till closing)
Saturday * Sky Sport and Live Music (till closing)
Sunday * Sunday School incl "Pot the Lot" "Drink Specials" "Raffles and "Live Music"

Menus

Brunch menu - a collection of all your favorites incl french toast, big breakfast, eggs benedict, steak sandwich, etc

Dinner Menu - Crowd pleasers incl beer battered blue cod, Flintstone steaks, baked Akaroa Salmon, Roast of the day, Pasta of the day, and our personal favorite - Stuffed Chicken Breast. We do also have light meals and Kid's meals for $12 with drink n dessert. Your meals are cooked by a team of talented, highly-skilled, and passionate chefs. Our head chef has just returned from a senior position at City mid. Our motto "Great Feeds Cooked by Great Chefs"

We have a kids menu with a selection of healthy, and not so healthy, dishes that the kids love

Snack Menu - Steak fries, bread, and dips, Tender crispy Chicken and dip, Wedges, Loaded Wedges, Chef's Platters, etc. You'll only need one as they don't have their name for no reason. Eat-in or Takeaway
