OMG… today definitely didn’t go as planned! 🧸🚗💨
Heading home after event, our food trailer wheel ran into some unexpected trouble. 😱 Thankfully, a passing driver flagged us down to warn us, and another wonderful stranger even crawled under the trailer to help check it out. 🧰👀 I am so deeply grateful to everyone on the road who stopped to help and share advice 💜🥰
Then I called AMI for Roadside Assistance and had a real eye-opener—after a 45-minute phone call 📞⏱️ and getting transferred through 4 different people 🔄👥, they told me: "Sorry, our roadside rescue isn't available on weekends." 🤷♀️😅 Instead, they just gave me two phone numbers 📞📱 and left us to sort it out ourselves! 🤦♀️
So just a friendly tip for everyone: if you're going to break down or have an accident, please make sure it's strictly between Monday to Friday! 📅
Thankfully, we reached out to Tow Works, 🚚✨ and the two guys who showed up were absolute legends—super fast, professional, and hilarious: 😎🙌 I said, "Thank you for coming! How are you?" 👋
One of them replied, "Better than you!" 😂🎯
And the other chimed in, "Yeah, I was just sitting at home doing nothing, now I've actually got something to do!" 🛋️🧸🛋️ Fair enough!!
The trailer is now safely at the workshop, 🏭🔒 and I hope we'll be back to making great food and coffee for everyone very soon. 🥟☕️🍳

And I am so, so sorry to everyone🥲—we were originally booked for a solid 6-day event, but since our trailer gave up on us right on day four🫣, we won't be able to make it for the last two days. Really sorry for any disappointment caused!🫡
