Full-Time Chef – Joe’s Garage Ravenswood

We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Full-Time Chef to join our team at our modern, state-of-the-art restaurant in Ravenswood, North Canterbury.
Joe’s Garage is famous across New Zealand for our simple, fast and reliable food, great service and fun atmosphere. If you’re passionate about hospitality, love working with people and enjoy a fast-paced kitchen, we’d love to hear from you!
What we’re looking for:
An experienced chef
Must be reliable and available Monday to Sunday, including morning and evening shifts
Experience cooking steaks to a high standard
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team
Must have a high level of understanding of food safety requirements
Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen
High standards of food quality and presentation
Ability to accurately follow recipes, systems and instructions
A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic
Someone who loves our guests, loves to serve and knows how to have fun!
